The P.C. Lee Centre for Early Childhood Development offers a high-quality Family Center and Training Hub rooted in the OneSky Approach to responsive caregiving that puts children at the center of their own learning and development. The Centre opened in May 2020 and is based in Sham Shui Po, a low-income district, where inequality and limited public childcare services make access to quality early care and education particularly challenging.
Through the Centre, OneSky is meeting the needs of local families by providing children ages 0-6 a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for engaging play and child-centered learning with support from OneSky’s early childhood professionals and the parents themselves. Training programs and workshops are offered in partnership with local NGOs and academic institutions. Together, with our partners, we are working towards a brighter future for vulnerable young children in Hong Kong – strengthening families and the community of care surrounding them.
