This Vietnamese preschool visiting a supermarket is the cutest thing you’ll see all day (VIDEO)

Surely these children from a very special preschool in Vietnam are the most cheerful supermarket customers ever – as they visit their local “VinMart” store for the first time.

They all attend OneSky’s Early Learning Center (ELC) – a school specifically set up for the children of rural migrants working in Da Nang’s factory zone.

For the most part, these children are more used to traditional markets. Today, however, they’ve bought their own shopping lists and money to their local supermarket. VinMart is a Vietnamese supermarket chain that is spreading quickly across the country.

Ahead of the trip, they drew pictures of the items they wanted to buy and parents donated their 50,000 VND budget (just over US$2).

Alongside the simple math required to get the best from their budget, the children also learned about where their food comes from and how to eat healthfully. They also learned where to find all the items they wanted and how to queue and pay for food.

The ELC opened in 2017. The pilot program, set up with the support from the Vietnamese government, also includes training for local home-based caregivers.
