Our Solution
- Family Skills training
- Cooperative playcare groups
In 2018, OneSky piloted its first training program for caregivers serving young children living in the ger districts of Mongolia’s capital, Ulaanbaatar. In 2020, we launched the OneSky Family Center as a demonstration, community engagement and training space for families to strengthen their understanding of how quality early care and learning opportunities can help their children thrive.
Today, in partnership with public kindergartens and local NGOs, OneSky is training and supporting parents to provide quality responsive care for young children ages 0-4. OneSky’s evidence-based Family Skills curriculum teaches healthy early childhood development as well as responsive caregiving skills and practices. With support from Mongolia’s Ministry of Education and Science, OneSky is fine-tuning and expanding our program to transform the lives of more children across low-resource ger districts.
