350 million children globally do not have access to quality early care and education. For children born into adverse circumstances or living in low-resourced environments, quality care is even more critical, yet even less likely to be available.

The first 1000 days of a child’s life are critical to their development. Without nurturing care and stimulating learning opportunities in their earliest years, a young child risks failing to develop the confidence and resilience needed to thrive.
Changing Systems of Care
